The Area
The village of Mas D’Auvignon is situated mid way between Condom and Lectoure. This is one of the most beautiful parts of South West France with a landscape of rolling green hills and winding rivers. Condom is the centre of the Armagnac region. There is a museum there along with a fine cathedral and fine 18th century houses. The River Baise on which it rests is navigable and you can hire boats to go up and down the locks. Lectoure is a famous hillside town a short drive away.

The area is a wine producing region and you can buy local produce at the many markets in the surrounding villages.
